Why a bonding coat
Smooth concrete gives plaster nothing to hold.
Mivan and RCC are dense and smooth. Gypbond Pro gives them a rough, bonded key.

What others publish.
Few makers publish a bond strength. None that we found publishes more than about 1 MPa.
Other makers: as each one publishes on its own site or product sheet, read on 4 October 2026; stated minimums or single figures, mostly with no test age. One maker publishes 5 to 6 sq m per kg, shown here in sq ft. Brand names are on our file.

Where do I use it?
On smooth concrete, before gypsum plaster: Mivan, RCC and precast. Walls, columns, beams and slab ceilings.
Do I need it on brick or AAC block?
No. Plaster keys to brick and block directly.
Do I add water?
No. It is ready to use. Stir it and roll it. Do not dilute it.
When can I plaster?
After 24 hours. You can plaster up to 14 days after coating.
What if more than 14 days pass?
Roll a fresh coat of Gypbond Pro. Then plaster.
Can I use it on a damp wall?
Not on a wall with seepage. Stop the leak first. Gypbond Pro is not a waterproofing product.
How much do I need?
One kilo covers up to 60 sq ft. The calculator above gives the buckets for your wall.
How do I store it?
Closed, cool and dry, out of the sun. Do not let it freeze. Shelf life: 1 year.
